Gates MegaCrimp couplings are designed for use with Gates wire braid, and select spiral, hydraulic hoses to create a robust, leak-free assembly. The performance comes from the patented "C" insert, which ensures an even distribution of crimping forces to form a concentric seal. This design allows a single coupling size to accommodate various hose constructions and wall thicknesses, simplifying inventory requirements. MegaCrimp couplings are fully qualified for SAE, EN, and ISO performance.

- MegaCrimp couplings set a new standard for hydraulic couplings, with a unique "C" insert that ensures weep-free concentric crimping to keep equipment and the environment clean.
- Engineered with Gates® Full-Torque Nut™ technology to solve a common cause of leaks: cracked nuts from over-torquing. These couplings are stronger and more durable than traditional staked nuts and transfer input-torque to clamp-load more consistently to minimize leaks.
- Simplifies inventory by allowing one MegaCrimp coupling size to accommodate various 1 and 2 wire braid hydraulic hoses of different constructions and wall thicknesses, qualified on all Gates® wire-braid hoses.
- Features a robust 'bite-the-wire' design with full-stem insertion and a full-length crimp for superior hose retention, creating a high-performance, risk-free hydraulic assembly.
