Gates MegaCrimp couplings are designed for use with Gates Wire Braid hydraulic hose to create a robust, leak-free assembly. Performance is driven by the patented, pre-assembled "C" insert, which ensures an even distribution of crimping forces to form a concentric seal. This design allows a single coupling size to accommodate various one and two-wire braid hoses, as well as select spiral hoses, simplifying inventory requirements. Additionally, MegaCrimp couplings are fully qualified for SAE, EN, and ISO performance.

Engineered with Gates® Full-Torque Nut™ technology to prevent cracking from over-torquing, these stronger, more durable couplings transfer input-torque to clamp-load more consistently than staked nuts, minimizing leaks.

MegaCrimp couplings set a new standard for hydraulic couplings; the unique "C" insert ensures "weep-free" concentric crimping to keep equipment and the environment clean.

Simplifies inventory management, as one coupling size accommodates various 1 and 2-wire braid hydraulic hoses (including all qualified Gates® wire-braid hoses) with different constructions and wall thicknesses.
