Tramec Sloan designs and manufactures a wide variety of gladhands in the USA at facilities in Holland, Michigan and Iola, Kansas. This emergency (swinger) gladhand is made of durable aluminum and meets DOT and SAE specifications. It features a 45-degree angle and a 3/8-18 NPTF thread size, providing reliable air line coupling with minimal projection from the trailer skin. Designed to reduce stress on tractor air lines with a 180-degree swivel elbow, it allows optional air line entry from either the bottom or back port. The built-in stopper prevents foreign particles and insects from entering air lines when the trailer is not in use.
