Microporous Protective Clothing by SCN offers protection against liquid, dust and light chemical splashes. It features a high quality microporous fabric that provides a comfortable fit and breathability, with a microporous film laminated to a polypropylene substrate. The clothing includes a zipper front with storm flap, attached hood, elastic wrists and ankles, and can be used in both dry and wet work environments. It has passed penetration tests with Diazinon, motor oil, bleach, isocyanate based paint, sodium hydroxide, sodium hypochlorite and blood. Applications include asbestos and lead abatement, clean rooms, radioactive dirt and dust, printing, refineries/chemical producers, maintenance, crime scenes, and painting. The product also has an anti-static coating to help prevent static discharges, and is EN1149 certified for surface resistivity and ASTM 1670 and 1671 certified for blood and blood borne pathogens
